We've reserved a block of rooms under our name at the Courtyard Marriott in Old Town Pasadena for $129/night.
Pauline and I visited the hotel recently and found the rooms to be quite nice. In fact, the hotel just completed a remodel and it certainly shows. What's more, it's only one block away from the shops and restaurants of Old Town Pasadena and, in the other direction, the start of the 134 and 210 freeways. Russell's, just down the street, is one of our favorite weekend morning stops, offering great-tasting, classic American breakfasts in a cozy, intimate atmosphere. I highly recommend the corn-beef hash and eggs. Pauline loves the chocolate chip pancakes.
